As the title states, I'm planning for college and I expect to get very little financial help from my parents.
The school I'm looking at right now I expect to pay around 15k yearly and would love to complete a full bachelors degree there, but most adults in my life are telling me it's unrealistic with my families financial situation.
My families yearly income is between $70,000-$80,000, though with the size of our family and my parents financial decisions, I expect to get very little, if any, financial assistance. By the time I'm heading off to college, I expect to have around 13k saved up from work.
I'm 16 and apologize if I come off as naive, I just really want to know if it's possible to pay for 4 years by myself without digging myself a hole of debt for my 20's.
Any recommendations or advice is very much appreciated.
