At the end of my interview today, they asked me what my salary expectations were. If I threw a number too low, I'd lose money. A number too high, they'd move on with the next candidate. Instead, I told the recruiter, "I'm very flexible when it comes to salary requirements. What has your organization budgeted for this role?" She told me that was a great question and gave me a range.
