Hello r/frugal!
I'm currently living in a previously unoccupied family home and am moving back to the major city in my state at the beginning of April. I'm going to need to acquire some furniture such as a couch, kitchen table & chairs, a home office desk, and some carpets and an outdoor rug.
I figure all of these items can be bought second hand for a good price, but I'm not sure where to look. I'm in search of quality, hardwood options that will last.
How have you been frugal on essential home furnishings in the past? After looking on craigslist for the past hour or so I mainly see outdated items for a price much higher than I'd like to pay.
Thanks!
