In 2020 (can't remember when exactly) I got the first $1200 stimulus payment deposited directly into my bank account.
Early January of 2021 (I think it was actually on the 1st), I got $600.
Now today March 17th, I got a letter from the IRS saying I was about to get my second EIP (Economic Impact Payment), for $600. But I thought the second payment was the $600 I got early January, and after that I was supposed to get $1400.
I had no income in 2019 and was homeless for half of 2020. I made $5k doing Doordash the last few months of 2020, but I can't imagine that would disqualify me from the $1400.
How can I find out why I was disqualified from getting the $1400?
