I had a house fire recently and we are currently in the process of rebuilding. We are considering taking out from our IRA to help. I understand in 2020 it was possible to take out a distribution without the 10% penalty due to covid and I read that in 2021 it is now possible to take out in case of natural disasters without penalty. Would a house fire be considered a natural disaster?
