This isnt a sob story, Im perfectly healthy and unless I get into an accident or something I wont have to worry about any doctors visits.

18$ an hour Full time worker (my employer absolutely wont ever do benefits) $1000 in savings $7000 in investments

After all of my bills/expenses I have about 250$ left over that goes into my savings or stock portfolio.

I did some research on Idahos healthcare website and it looks like the most basic high deductible insurance is anywhere from 250$-280 a month for the most minimal coverage. Is this worth it? Are there still fines for not being insured? If I do get sick is there a way to avoid being sent to the hospital against my will?
