Hello wonderful frugal community,
New to being a homeowner here and we have an old/damaged melamine bathroom vanity circa 1996. We would like to replace it in the next year or two.
I had no idea how expensive these were until now, even without the faucet and sink (which we may keep).
Does anyone have ideas for frugal (not cheap) bathroom vanity options? Tips to save money while ensuring the vanity we install has a long life?
To consider: - living in a medium/large city in Canada - need cabinets that close to store some toiletries, but ok with drawers too (no makeup, few hair products, two guys, no kids) - into vintage look and recycling materials - modern style/minimalist not our thing - looking at 32-48” width range - two reasonably handy adults who own some power tools and open to idea of making something if needed
Thanks for sharing anything you might find helpful :)
