I am 28, single, and no children. I have about 34k in my retirement accounts, including 12k I just maxed out in my Roth IRA for 2020 and 2021, and 22k in my 401k. I just recently opened the Roth IRA when I found out I was getting this money. I currently make 45k a year, and contribute 20% to my 401k. All of these accounts are with Fidelity.
Then, I landed 300k from a settlement. It is tax free. I just paid off my car loan debt, which was 13k. I put 12k in my Roth IRA. I do not have any more debt, but I am thinking I will use 25k to buy a house in addition to 50k I have saved for that purpose as well (just from savings).
That leaves me 250k that I can "invest". However, I know nothing about this and would like some advice about what's the best way to do that.
Thanks in advance!
