Hi there frugal community,
I’m moving from NYC to FL this month and am thinking of the cheapest ways to move. I have a small amount of stuff (books, clothes, bunch of small knickknacks 1 TV, a small safe, and shoes, other random crap) and I’m leaving my bed, desk and couch here for the next renter.
I have looked into moving companies, shipping companies and car rental companies to figure out the cheapest way possible. I recently came across a post where someone bought a used car on Craigslist, packed his stuff and moved and then was able to resell the car for more than he bought it.
I’d love to hear if anyone else has any thoughts on this plan and if it’s feasible to do in under a month. Please let me know!
