Has anyone moved to the Midwest or Rust Belt simply to be able to purchase a home?
I'm considering moving so that I can buy a home. Anyone have any experience doing it? Am I being ridiculous? No one I know in real life has supported me in this. But everyone I know lives in the way that they have car payments, and mortgage payments, and student loans. They owe someone, but rather than paying the debt completely, they pay part and just go into more debt to someone else. Sorry, if I sound resentful, its just I don't want to go back to the middle of country, not because its bad, just because its not home, I simply cannot afford to have a future where I am now. I don't want to go, but there are realities I need to accept, and no one thinks its a great idea.
