Bought in average at 20 @ 240.60. Was too late for the hype, saw it rising exponentially again till 500 so I was certain it might stay there for a while, fall a little, rise a little or a lot etc. The DD's made sense. But...
What's the endgame now? People are expecting a squeeze, but why? I've seen solid explanations presented, about the shorts, about money bleeding in fines/fees, hedge funds lose 53% in 1 month, etc.
Why couldn't they just short again when it was at 300-450 and then use that literal massive pile of billions to cover their tiny 20$ shorts?
There's massive amounts of professionals behind all this, people with billions, friends in high places, AI algos, bailouts from their buddies/the gov, etc. What is the GME gang waiting for exactly? How do we even ever 'get paid'? Can't they just keep shorting and paying off lower shorts etc? Or does this mean the price will eventually spike again? Can't they just use their billions in drawing this whole thing out for weeks, even months, to average down their costs and make people lose interest?
And there's literally many more billions invested on either side now that it's low again, probably also when it was higher etc...
But seriously, what is the endgame? What are people seemingly so desperately waiting for but also seemingly 100% sure 'it' will happen? Something to do with it being listed as a 'high risk security' for X amount of days before people are forced to cover? Can't they just keep resetting the days like they did in mid january?
I'd like this to keep it a non-bashing thread but really feel like it's just slowly petering out like a big fat smelly fart? I'd love to hear 'win' and 'lose' scenario's and them being talked about. E.g. What exactly A B C thing needs to happen for a next squeeze for GME? What could the HFs potentially do to slowly wiggle their way out of it with minimal losses?
I can't post this in the bets subreddit because I wouldn't necessarily get a straight answer and probably be at 0 upvotes. I don't think I can post it here either by just being attacked in the opposite way. At least here I won't get mauled by the lion, i might just lose an arm but escape with my life lol...
DD pro, DD con, discussions, ...
Anyway, all of this should be regarded as entertainment and not financial advice. Thanks!
