Hey guys Im new to this sub and wanted to share that in January my boyfriend and I cut our spending on food in half by not going out to eat and not wasting! Over the summer we were both working our asses off and got into the habit of eating out all the gd time like it was embarrassing. Ive always been skinny but after gaining 10 pounds in less than a year from eating out I decided it had to stop because I could only go up from there the way we were eating.

When I started keeping track of it I realized we were dropping HUNDREDS on fast food and pizza every month and we do not have the kinda money to be spending like that. So now at the end of the month I can happily share with you all that we cut our spending completely in half and I lost a pound or two cooking at home (we’re still not eating the healthiest but way better than we were) and I am honestly blown away. We also barely wasted any food which makes me so happy!
