Long story short, I need some Bluetooth headphones while working remotely because I don’t live alone. My frugal side wants to buy something like $50 any budget one, my techy side (Im an intern at IT company) wants to spend $280 on Sony 1000XM4 which is just seems to be a great quality and looking very cool! I just have hard time doing such a purchase, and one side of me thinks that I am excited to do such a purchase because I just started my first professional job with a new company with possibly a full-time offer in the end, and I am excited to get new stuff related (already got myself a few business shirts to wear during video calls)
I have been looking at this Sony headphones everyday for last few days on Amazon, add it to cart then remove it, add it to cart, then remove it, couple times a day.
I am 22. Current monthly income is around $3200 after tax. I want to save money frugally and save for a down payment to buy my first rental property, but I’m worried if I cannot stop myself from buying this headphones since I am so excited about it with my new job, I am worried that now I have a job, I will have more expensive things I will get excited about in the future. Any advice?
