In November & December I replaced all snacks with coffee, decaf, or tea, and it has been great, especially with the colder weather. It saves a lot of empty calories and probably €1-2/day in chips or cookies.

But I don't always want coffee or tea, and I always add sugar to coffee and tea, so I want a hot water alternative. Hot water with lemon is a popular wake-up or evening drink, but I don't really like lemon.

I add cucumber or peppermint to ice water in the summer, but they don't taste right in hot water.

What else is good in hot water? TIA
