I am a poor student with a crazy sweet tooth, who has to manage a budget by being frugal cuz #studentlife. But when I want a cookie, I want a cookie. Hence, in times of cravings and despair, this abomination has come together ๐
However, this is much, much worse off than a sad, pathetic pancake batter gone wrong recipe. This is nothing more than a disc of flour and sugar. Despite of all which, I will make an erroneous transgression and call these cookies.
My housing option left me with nothing but a stovetop for a kitchen; no fridge, no oven, no microwave. So to make it very clear, there's absolutely no baking involved here. Budget restraints can also mean having no ingredients for actual cookies at home nor the money to buy them. So, with this recipe you can add anything you have into the batter. Or nothing at all, except for water, flour and sugar (๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐). As long as it's edible, it's edible. If it's not, well, break it into pieces and feed it to birds. Them birds will eat anything anyways ๐
Here it is, in all its glory (lack thereof)

Add ingredients into one container (๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ -๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ธ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐- ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ข๐๐'๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐r ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐) and mix them all nicely.
Optionally, add any preferred sweet-uns available on hand (vanilla, nut butter, oats, chopped apple, mashed banana, raisins, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, cherries, chocolate, chopped dates, berries, honey, ginger powder, flaxseeds, seeds, nuts - anything that compliments sweet. ANYTHING).
Shape. Or don't. Your wish. Just make sure that it is flat-ish and not too thick or it won't cook all the way through.
Bake if ye be privileged enough to have an oven and no fear of electric bills. Or just place on the stovetop in a nonstick or lightly oiled pan on medium heat Pan shouldn't be smoking hot. Just hot enough to be able to feel the heat when your palm is placed over it. Cover if lid is available.
Wait - until not raw, but also not till after burned. This'll take some trial and error.
Flip. (Necessary only for stove top)
When certain that it's no longer raw, remove off pan and then pฬถlฬถaฬถcฬถeฬถ iฬถnฬถtฬถoฬถ mฬถoฬถuฬถtฬถhฬถ place somewhere to cool.
The longer they cool, the harder they become. Fresh ones are soft and crumbly. Hard ones are perfect for tea
Garnish if you can or want. Eat them however you wish. With water, tea, coffee, milk or cocoa. Or don't.

Sarcasm and snark aside, I have actually really enjoyed these, especially during these past cold months ๐ In all honesty, they turn out quite bearable. Might even say I like them.
๐ ๐ ๐ ข๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ก: Do not serve this to a foodie, or in fact, anyone who is not a struggling, poor student; they may pass away of pure, utter disgust in the presence of this soulless, butterless unbaked travesty that I've taken the liberty of calling a cookie.
