I know it’s not much, but tonight I went doordashing so I can pay off my car faster. Made a principle payment to lower the debt. Before people say “you will put a lot of miles on your car and depreciate it quicker”, I don’t drive much per year. Maybe 7k miles. My wife drives maybe 1200 miles per year on her car. I also drive a Honda that I plan to drive until the wheels fall off. It’s a somewhat newer car. 2017 CRV. Plan is to take extra income while investing in my retirement. And then once those two car payments are done, then accelerate our house payment. We could have both cars paid in 2 years roughly, then house probably in 7-10 years. Not entirely sure yet. Together we make around 107k a year gross.
