I use portable small clothes lines to hang things on when I've filled out my big outdoor clothesline. We live near the sea and I've noticed our lines keep going rusty even if we have them away out of the rain. I don't want to throw away 2 perfectly good clothes lines just because of rust but they're staining our clothes- any suggestions about how to get rid of the rust and prevent it coming back?
