I have collected a number of sturdy cardboard boxes of various sizes from purchases, friends, and family, and I’m planning to upcycle them for drawer and tabletop organizers, but I’m unsure of the best way to go about it. They’re all similar to, and include, the types of boxes that Apple devices are sold in.
What suggestions do you have for cheaply making them decorative? So far I’ve considered covering them with decorative paper, which from past experience is a PITA, as well as spray painting them and in either case, giving them a spray-on coat of matte varnish or similar sealer. I’m not opposed to using ModPodge, either.
