Hello, I am writing today because I am overwhelmed by some news I got. My mother was hit by a drunk driver and we sued and I’m getting over 100,000. This is big money for me as I’m poor and It’s not something I ever thought possible. I’m going to talk to a financial advisor soon but I just wanted to see what you guys had to say. I’m curious about good savings accounts to accrue Interest and paying off loans and down payments on houses. I’m just not knowledgeable on anything and I’d like to get a base plan together soon.
