I don’t know if this will be a revelation to anyone besides me but I just recently discovered how damn cheap frozen pizza is. You can get a medium sized pizza with toppings (i just had one that was arugula and prosciutto) for around five dollars. My store brand (Giant) and Target brands are both better than pizza parlor pies IMO, and there’s no tipping, less waiting, and no grease stained box to throw away. The leftovers are easier to wrap too (cleaning up takeout pizza is a pet peeve of mine).
I make almost everything from scratch but my preferred pizza dough is an overnight recipe and it’s nice to have a fast cheap meal ready whenever I want it.
