Not sure if this is a repost or using the wrong flair.
I’ve often wanted to save glass and plastic food containers or plastic bottles both to save money and recycle. However, sometimes I’ll find after a while that some container ends up pretty crap at keeping airtight or fall apart in some way once being washed, so I don’t want to clutter things up by saving every little thing.
Regardless of that, are there any specific types of containers that are most useful and hold up well in y’all’s experience? Even specific brands, maybe next time I buy some basic thing I could get the one with a good container. Buy-for-life Peanut butter jars and such lol.
TL;DR: which types of food containers are worth saving to re-use?
Edit: Basically wasting money and resources buying ziploc boxes and such when all this other stuff goes in a blue bin never to be seen again annoys me
