Hello guys
I had a bad panic attack a few months ago and some family members took me to the ER. I don't have insurance. I lost my job because I didn't call in. I now have 12k in medical bills and am thinking of chapter 7. I realize that the next 10 years I won't have a "normal" life.
The hospital has a payment plan of $50 with 3% interest. I'll be paying this off for the next 20 years and in the event I am late they can still sent it to collections.
I've never been late on a credit card payment. I've never been late on anything...
But 12k debt with an on again off again construction gig is just not feasible to me.
I owe about 2500 on my car. I work with a guy (1090) making $15 bucks in construction. Not stable. I live with my cousin and pay 700 in rent. I have a 40 phone plan.
I'm planning on talking to a few lawyers tomorrow.
What are some questions I should have, how much should this cost in Oklahoma?
ANY suggestions/help is truly appreciated.
