I posted on this a couple years ago; many stores discount more meat than typical and at deeper discounts than normal on December 24th due to being closed on Christmas. I typically stock up on items like ground beef, steak, pork loins, etc. Usually it's best to wait on Christmas cuts until Dec 26th, but if on clearance don't pass it up if it's something special like tenderloin.
