I’ve had my washer about 8 years now. I put it through a lot. About 10 loads a week. It was a cheap, low end model to begin with. So when it started shaking like crazy and making obnoxious sounds when I used it, I figured it must be time to shell out $500 for a new one. The appliance repairman was going to charge me more than half the cost of a new one just to come look at it

But with a little bit of investigation and persistence, I was able to figure out what was wrong. Ordered replacement parts from amazon and used a YouTube video to replace the parts. All in all, it cost $45 and 1 hour of time and it’s working like new
