Here's a chart of the world population growth rate. I have so many questions staring at this chart. Here are just a few:

1. Why the diminishing rate of population growth?

2. Can global economy continue to grow when rate <0%?

3. Role of innovation vs population in economic growth?

4. What does a no-economic-growth world look like?

5. Is exponential economic growth possible when the human population is no longer growing?

6. Can humans go interplanetary before population growth rate hit 0%? And will going interplanetary reverse the trend?

I've read a few articles online that somewhat touch on the issue (this is one example) but I didn't feel like I was any closer to answering any of my questions afterward. Anyone in here that cares to share their thoughts on this topic?
