Suppose I'll live forever. Suppose I invest $65k in the stock market at %12, which doubles every 5 years or so.

Then in 80 years, I'd have about $4 billion dollars. In another 80 years I'd have $281 trillion dollars.

If it were this easy to become a billionaire, everyone's children or grandchildren could. But since this isn't the case, there must be something that breaks compounding interest before then. What is it?
