We moved to a new place and pigeons love the balcony.
While moving in, we had kept some stuff in the balcony. That was a very bad idea because they pooped over every single thing and the floor. So we removed the stuff but pigeons they sit on the railings or the outdoor AC unit that is fixed in the balcony and just poop. And there too many of them.
We've ordered spikes but I wonder how effective they are. Other balconies in the society do not have nets or spikes but they seem to have no poop problem. We don't really know anyone here so I don't know whom to ask here.
I got my bird feeders and bath from the last house, but I'm sceptical of installing them yet because it may attract more pigeons and none of the other bird species.
Any ideas on how to repel pigeons?
