TL;DR: Where can I get a loan(s) or how can I apply for multiple credit cards in a short period to get $100,000 to pay for my newborn daughters hospital bill? (I'm outside the US, but a US-citizen, with plans to return.)

I am a US citizen, wife is not. We were planning on moving back to the US, and before our move date, I had to rush my pregnant wife to the hospital.

She had gone into labor. As they rushed her to the OR, I was pulled into a room where the hospital staff told me something along the lines of "We can save your wife and the baby, but the cost is going to be around $100k for everything, including the neonatal care. If you can't pay it, then we will choose not to save the baby."

For obvious reasons, I told them the money is not an issue and to save the baby.

It has be a little less than a month now, and our daughter is growing in the NICU. The country we are in is a developing country, however they have excellent doctors, and their NICU unit is impressive. I have no doubts my daughter is in a good location, but now I need to start focusing on getting cash quickly. - Also, my wife didn't have health insurance when she got pregnant, so we're going to be stuck out of pocket for all expenses.

[question]

How could I get a personal loan with good credit (FICO ~747), online, in tune of $100,000?

I first thought I could apply for a bunch of credit cards quickly, and put the cost of the hospital expenses on them. I currently have one credit card with a limit of $11,000. Last week I applied for 3 additional cards, but my credit limit on all of them is not enough.

Yesterday, I put my information into SoFi to see if I would qualify for a $100,000 loan, but the soft pull rejected me. It indicated there have been too many credit requests in a short period.

I own a business, and my total business revenue is just shy of $900k per year. But since I've been living outside of the US for the last 2-years, I was able to delay my 2019 tax filing, so i don't have tax returns for 2019. Business profit is low, and I keep my business running at a loss because I usually invest everything back into my company. I believe I have enough documents to say I make $140k/year, but in reality I deposit only $4,300 per month from my company into my bank account. ,

Fortunately, cost of living in the country we're in is super low, for example, housing is $300 per month. Due to the visa my wife is on, she is not allowed to work in the country we're in.

The most important thing for the time being is to come up with the cash. Regardless of the interest rate, I believe if I get the money, I can buy myself more time to refinance it.

I am prepared to make a stupid financial decision now, as long as I can come up with the money to pay the hospital. We can always live in this country longer while we pay down the debt, or I can get another job during the night time. - So if all options are on the table, how would you get this kind of money if you were me?

[additional points]

  • my family and wife's family are poor, and nobody close to us has this kind of money, or enough to help us out. My sister offered to sell her car, but that would only get us ~$3,000.

  • My business only has enough cash flow to keep operating.

  • I looked into selling my company last year, but nobody would buy because it is essentially a consulting company with little value apart from myself.

  • I am really not looking for a handout from any internet strangers, so please don't assume I'm alluding to asking for financial help from others.
