Feel like such an idiot
My daughter was hacked today and asked me to transfer her money to pay a “hotel bill”. I ended up sending “her” £600 only to get a text from her just afterwards saying her Facebook had been hacked! Extremely embarrassed and angry at myself for being so stupid to fall for such a simple scam.
I have contacted my bank who referred me to another number which told me they were not open for several more hours.
What should I do - I am panicking a bit. Any advice would be extremely appreciated! Thank you!!
