Hey there. This is essentially my throwaway account as I don't want anyone seeing this.
The GF has been having issues and we've come to the conclusion that moving in together would be the best thing to save money.
She does have a couple of kids and this is the first time either of us will have lived with a significant other with kids (long story on her part).
I pay mortgage, I'll be putting her on my phone plan and my auto insurance (or hers, whichever is better). We're trying to figure out what the best course of action is and how we can save money as a "Family".
There's a Sam's Club within a few miles of us, so thinking of getting a membership there. Get the savings on bulk items and food.
Anything else obvious that we're missing?
I have some bills that I've let go and haven't been paying on (all gone to collections), should I attempt to save up some cash and resolve those?
I don't know. I am nervous, but looking forward to it and just kinda need some encouragement hehe
