A potential employer with whom I've been in talks with for the last two months is flying me down to their home state to meet all of the execs. I'm highly confident that I'm the only person beings considered for this role and we've already talked numbers. This trip is seemingly the last step before it becomes official.
They've just now offered to fly my wife down as well. I accepted this offer as we used to live in the state that the company is located so we figured we'd make a a trip out of it. The CFO and another VP have offered to take my wife and I out to dinner when we arrive.
Does anyone have any personal stories or experiences to share with bringing their significant other on an "interview" dinner like this? I use the term interview lightly because I've met with these particular people multiple times already and this seems to be more of meeting to get to know me/us personally.
Horror stories are welcomed.
