I am already looking forward for Christmas dinner. And I found my notes from last year where I planned out 12 days of food. I never did it, due to work and not having time. But working from home this year means I will have time this year. I don't know if I found this idea in a blog post or it was something I was messing around with for ideas.

Basically you plan out 12 special foods for the 12 days leading up to Christmas, like a different cookie or baked good for each day. Or maybe a different family favorite meal each day.

This is what I have in my notes from last year. I really don't remember if I came up with this list or I copied it from somewhere.

December 12: Cocoa Day

December 13: Popcorn String Day

December 14: Biscuit and Gravy Day

December 15: Cupcake and Tea Day

December 16: Chocolate Covered Food Day

December 17: Maple Syrup Day

December 18: Honey Day

December 19: Muffin Day

December 20: Sausage Day

December 21: Hamburger Day

December 22: Cookie Day

December 23 Pfeffernuesse Day

December 24: Chinese Food or New Years Eve Meal

This might be a good year to do this, if you were to make 12 different cookies. You could give some out as present, for example.
