I never had a good paying job. I work part time at a liquor store making 11 dollars an hour. I net 577 a month after expenses. No emergency fund. I spend what I make on micro transactions. Stupid stuff. I have mental health issues. I am licensed to practice social work and have the potential to start between 40-50k next year. I live with my partner, do not pay rent, she’s fine and pays for everything for now. I have 8000 in a fund performing at zero percent. 1500 in credit card debt. I know I’ll work until I die. Guess I have to accept it. Any hope to ever buy a house of my own in case her health issues kill her (not immediately likely but I wonder). Blessings upon this group and any advice is appreciated.
