This is my first project like this. In the past I have only done relatively simple home repair stuff.I'm building a 12'x18' shed in my backyard. I bought plans from someone online. The plans call for a 2x6 header for the top plate* of the front wall.*Not sure if that is correct termI made the 2x6 header by nailing two 18' 2x6s together with a piece of 1/2" OSB in the middle. The problem is, as I went to start nailing the studs in, I noticed that the 2x6s are not completely even with each other. This is causing a slight (maybe 1/4") gap between the front side of the studs and header. It's a lot easier to see what I mean if you take a look at the pictures: https://ift.tt/3euh0Ks this within tolerance for a project like this?Do I have to redo the header? If I redo the header, can I reuse the same wood (2x6s, not OSB).Thanks for the help! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/34YLj9m
