Hi, sorry it’s kind of long.
My mom and I always had a rocky relationship. Both of us have done things that make the other mad or annoyed. And it’s usually all small stuff like forgetting to watch the dishes or not picking up after my siblings. My mom can be a bit abusive, emotionally and mentally. I’m not saying it affected the way I do things but I think it really contributed to it. I did some stuff in the past that I don’t think she’s given me of yet.
Anyways, around a week or so ago me and a few other friends wanted to visit a friend who just recently gotten out of the hospital for a surgery. We decided not to because someones aunt got COVID. Today we all just decided last minute we should just hang today. Asked my mom before she went to work and she said no, but I went anyways after she left. It was suppose to be an hour or two of hanging in the car, listening to music, driving around. etc. Safety wise, all of us has been staying at home for a while already and no symptoms was shown.
After an hour my mom found out that I left, my younger brother told on me. I told him I’ll be out for an hour, two at the most and not to tell my mom. She was extremely upset, yelling cursing on the phone and even called my friends some horrible names. She told me to go to a Walmart parking lot and wait for her. I did just that. My friends were trying to convince me to have them drive me home instead of my mom but I rather not get them or me into more trouble.
When she picked me up, she drove me home and handed me a duffle bag and told me to start packing. I just sat there and didn’t do anything while she just watched.
I texted my cousins. One of them is on board on trying to get me to stay with them, but the other two are hesitate, which I totally understand- COVID and other factors. The two were texting saying that I should just go to a hotel or motel or even rent a studio. Again I am 17 with no proof of income. And with what I have money wise right now, it won’t last me long. My friends that was with me said that they can convince their parents to let me stay with them but who knows if they’ll actually let me.
I just feel a little lost right now.
