I am building a platform that I will be putting a greenhouse on (greenhouse will not have its own floor). So the plywood that is on top of the platform will be the floor of the greenhouse. The greenhouse I am looking at is hexagonal and I am building a square platform. That means that some of the platform will extend beyond the greenhouse and be exposed to the elements.Does anyone have recommendations for how to waterproof the platform? The platform will have sections that are "inside" the greenhouse and outside. I was thinking flashing around the edge, flex seal tape on the seams, and flex seal covering the deck (or liquid rubber). That approach gets pretty pricey. Could I get away with regular deck sealant? Any recommendations for strategies with the flashing, seams, or anything else to make sure it lasts for a long time? Thanks so much! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3ntn9Le
