Hey everyone.
Quick background: I have a portfolio of individual stocks and have done modestly these past 2-3 years.
Lately, I’ve been wanting to put 80-90% of the total into index funds, but have ran into the common problem of trying to time the market. This keeps me from doing anything, and I thus have the same portfolio.
My main solicitation is to ask if anyone has had this particular situation happen to them, and have they successfully liquidated, then bought into passive funds. I know there are either semantics that I’m probably not thinking of or it’s as simple as selling and buying.
Any thoughts or advice is appreciated!
