I don’t really have anyone to discuss finance goals with but I enjoy reading about other people’s wins in this group so I thought I’d share my own. After being housing insecure throughout grad school, I now have a stable job and a house. Even with my student loan debt and mortgage, I just reached Net Worth Zero! I celebrated by putting 85% of my paycheck towards my 401k. This might be the first year I max out my 401k. And to top it off, I ordered a reappraisal for my house and I might get the PMI taken off. I never imagined this for myself.
