There was a hot water tank leak in my furnace room.I managed to pull up all the cheap floating vinyl flooring pieces (there is no underlayment) to dry out the concrete flooring beneath - but was unable to pull up the vinyl flooring under the washer and drying machines since they're extremely heavy and won’t budge. I’ve dried up as much water as I could that comes out when I press down on the tiles that are under the machines and wedged screwdrivers under the edges of the vinyl to prop it up to get some air in there.I’m also running a dehumidifier to hopefully dry out the area quicker. The heat is also on.Is there anything else I can do to hopefully dry out the area under the washing and drying machines? I’m concerned about potential mold. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2FNH6LG
