Hi, I've been doing a lot of research on the prep required to put down an epoxy floor that will last, and was hoping someone could give me perspective on products for patching the concrete. There is so much emphasis on seeking out very high quality epoxy products that I wasn't sure if that also extended to the patching step.I have several hairline to 1/8" cracks and a couple holes from removing concrete anchors (1/4" deep 4" diameter divots) to fill. For the cracks, I've seen recommendations for this Simpson injection epoxy but also several recommendations for DAP liquid crack filler. The former is 2x the price, but will that make a difference when the epoxy is down? For the divots, I've similarly been recommended both DAP Concrete Patch and Legacy Industry's HD-110 concrete patch. The DAP product is 1/10th the price. In both cases, is it worth the extra money to buy the more expensive product or can I save a bit of money here? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3mjOazg
