I just wanted to thank everyone here. This last year has been very crazy for my wife and I. This sub helped me get us on a budget for the first time since we have been together. For the last 10 years we would spend however we wanted without a care. We were lucky that we made enough to keep that lifestyle going but once our daughter was born, money got tighter. This forced us to take a look at our budget and figure things out. I was still in college and not working so our main objective was to pay down debt. Three months ago we paid off our last bit of debt and now just have our mortgage to take care of. Now that we have no debt and a great budget in place, we have been able to save $10,000 very quickly. We are investing automatically and continuing to build our emergency fund. This sub helped out so much and was great motivation to keep us going.

On a second thought, keep your money in a high interest savings because my normal savings account accrued $0.25 this last month with $10,000 in it. Definitely better places to keep it.

Thanks again!!!
