I’m hoping to purchase a house next year with my fiancé. We both have credit scores over 800, less than $10k in debt combined (remaining payments for our cars), and have a joint annual income of about $100k, but not too much liquid cash (probably less than $20k). I know nothing about purchasing a home. What should I start doing now to prepare us financially? What are the “i wish I knew before” that you have experienced? Literally any tips would be so appreciated. We would be purchasing in Florida if that matters.
