Note: I'm in the UKSo I've been replacing the wall cabinets in my kitchen and removed one of them to find this mess where someone has obviously put a drill through the cable to the socket below it.I've repaired it for the moment like this.I ran new cable up from the socket to a junction box and then joined the cable inside it from the roof space, and filled back over the exposed wires.I'm just wanting to check on safety/legal side if this is ok to leave like this. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3cpJXq4
