I live in a pretty nice apartment complex so there is a lot of good stuff left by dumpster by people who are moving out. I found today an undamaged underbed storage container (not relevant to the story by I have been wanting one for a while) and a Dyson Absolute Animal Vacuum. I checked it for bugs or anything before taking it and when I tested it it seemed fine except it made an awful noise when putting it into brush roll mode. After some investigation I figured it just needed to have the motor and brush roll cleaned so I cleaned those up (and the rest of it) and it works great! The only thing I’ll be buying is a new filter because, gross. But I am pretty proud of myself for fixing it actually!
