Apple to release Apple search engine
What do you all think about Apple possibly having a search engine? Is that a space that Apple can actually dominate? What will that do to Apple stock price? I found this part of the article interesting:
“Why build a search engine? For the same reason that Apple ultimately launched a mapping application it might be inclined to launch a more full-blown search engine. It’s a strategic capability that Apple probably ultimately wants in order to better control the user experience and showcase content and apps on its mobile devices.” Curious to get some dialogue on what that might do for investors and is it worth it to invest in Apple for this possibility?
