I’m turning 30 in a few months and I realized I only a 4K savings and even then it was really hard. I go from job to job cause I don’t like getting stuck in one place. I plan on going to community college when they open and have been approved for fafsa. Do I have to have a 401k through a company I work with or can I independently? Is there anything I can do with this 4K to invest in? I was planning on investing it in a 401k after college but that will take a few years to say the least. Any advice for a guy who gots no idea what he’s doing? My monthly payments aren’t much thanks to my super shitty house I rent with friends. Thank you for your time.
