I don’t have the best credit score out there. I’m currently working on it and it’s on the lower end of the scale. I’ve been hesitant to apply for their credit card because I had a feeling they wouldn’t accept it.
Here’s the thing I keep getting letters that I’m pre-qualified for the platinum credit card. Last month I decided to apply and no surprise it was rejected. No big deal. Now, I have received multiple letters that I’m qualified for this same credit card they rejected me about 3 weeks ago.
Do banks do this? Reject your application for a credit card but still send letters that you’re pre-qualified? I’m so confused.
