Most of the stuff you find at the dollar store is plastic crap that won’t last long. However, I find when I’m in a pinch, and can’t find something anywhere else, Dollar Tree helps me out. Examples- Today I was trying to find a clear, 6” protractor for my kid. Walmart, Target, the grocery, none of them had it. Guess who did? And for only $1 instead of $4-10. Plus it came with a compass. And I got hand sanitizer that straps to your back pack. Walmart and Target has them for $3-4 a piece.
I needed a paint brush for small touch up jobs. Found a 4-pack for $1, and still haven’t used them all
I needed the skinny hair-toes to make masks with because all craft stores are out. I found 7 3-packs of a fancy hair tie with beads. I can now make 21 masks with adjustable elastic.
If I need a small pot (and sometimes dirt to fill it), glass vase or other glassware, disposable storage containers for giving away meals, storage baskets, birthday supplies, simple tools, socks for the homeless, or candy for a movie, I always go to Dollar Tree.
