So I was at a bunch of stores today like home depot, rona, canadian tire, walmart...everywhere trying to find something that I would be able to mount even just a simple piece of plywood to to use as a swiveling keyboard tray for my IKEA Poang chair but I was unable to find anything. What I was looking for was something like one of those desk clamps often found on lamps or monitor stands, except I couldn't find any. I was looking online and I can find some things with that sort of screw-in action from the bottom C-clamp type thing but the top always has some really tall piece of rod or something sticking up really far which I don't want.I want to be able to just clamp a mechanism onto the armrest of the chair that can swivel in and out so I can push it out of the way to get out of the chairl, but I can't find anything that would allow me to do this.Does anyone know of a product that I would directly be able to do this easily, or any pieces I could use to put it together myself? The only easily swivel'able thing I could find was one individual 360 degrees swiveling wheels that I thought hmm, I could probably get that, unbolt and remove the wheel, then hammer the pieces that hold the wheel out flat then screw it into the bottom of a piece of wood. Then I'd have a swiveling piece of wood attached, to it, but I don't see a way to attach it to the arm of the chair easily without destroying the chair...I do not want to drill into or otherwise destroy the armrest of the chair. I want it to remain totally normal.I've been searching all afternoon trying to find pieces that I could make this from to no avail...https://ift.tt/3lkxeZF via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3lg9VjL
