Redoing the floor of a finished basement. Approx 800sq ft and currently has a very thin carpet on-top installed of concrete. Bought the Shaw vinyl plank flooring my wife picked out at Lowe’s and plan to get this installed in the next few weeks. I’ve seen videos on YouTube which make it look easy, but how hard is this to tackle as a diy beginner? The basement is mostly one big rectangle on the back side, one perfectly square room on the front and a hallway on the other side separated by a staircase.
